I found Pinterest to be both fun and easy to use. It is very user friendly, you set up as many "boards" or collections as I like to think of them, as you would like and just start scrolling through images. When you sign up, it asks what your interests are and as you save things it adds like material into your feed. There are so many awesome writing, art, science, grammar and classroom posts on here! I absolutely will use Pinterest for lesson plans, energizer ideas, and classroom management.   My Teaching Pinterest! It is also super versatile! you can use it for so many other things. It allows you to create and title unlimited boards. Another  wonderful tool we used is Google Classroom. I think that it is very versatile, it allows the teacher to create assignments, due dates, class calendar, classroom feed and much more.      Teaching (TLC) tools     I really enjoyed learning about some of the different tools that teachers can use to include their students, assess their knowledge and academic achievement, and view progress over the school year.     In our modern age, we should be like the crow in Aesop's fable, as Dr. Wang suggests, and use a straw when it's available. I feel that these tools are like a straw, we could continue to use rocks, (techniques that have been around since before our technological age) it works, but a straw is more efficient and easier to use to accomplish the same task.     I remember being in elementary and middle school and playing games on the computer, spelling, reading, grammar, math, and typing games. It was always a highlight for me! So I chose Wordsmyth for one of my resources. In my day-to-day life I use technology fairly frequently. I use my tablet for art, my computer for school and my phone for everything. I use a Cricut machine to cut out vinyl stickers and a design software that goes with it. In my previous position as a Pharmacy Technician I also typed all day every day and had to use specific software for operations that were crucial in the running of the pharmacy.  I am comfortable using technology and learning new things as well. I was a float technician and would switch between software and pharmacies and had to adapt to new and different programs all the time. We also used counting machines and robots and it was always interesting learning how to care for and work with those. Often times I was presented with software that did not cooperate, and honestly, Google and YouTube are my best friends!
